Is Sixty Minutes Enough For a Workout?

This is a common question that people have with regards to cardio and what is best for results. Honestly, you need to do what you enjoy the most. For some, they hate any machine because they aren't used to exercise or it feels unnatural. My advice is to ease into any machine and get the hang of it. Start off slowly and don't go immediately for 30 minutes if you aren't used to it. Depending on your fitness level go by your perceived exertion and how that machine makes you feel. You will know personally if it is tolerable or you can't sustain that intensity very long. The recumbent bikes that have the bike rest burn the least calories. For individuals who have back problems this might be a better option depending on a physiotherapists guidelines. If you are looking for maximal caloric expenditure, go with the treadmill, cross trainer, rowing machine or stairmaster. All of these machines force most of your muscles to be involved. This is great because the more muscles you incorporate the more calories you will expend. For More Muscle building secrets Click here

Machine Vs Free Weights?

This depends on you as an individual and what your personal goals are. I'll give you a quick breakdown of the two. Machines are solid, easy to chose the weight, and are designed to provide a smooth motion with the weights. This is great for beginners who have never lifted weights before, people who are short on time, or don't have time to think and worry about putting weights away. Also machines can be beneficial for body builders who are purely trying to isolate their muscles for hypertrophy. Free weights are great because you do not have that smooth motion from the machines provided. You are required to balance and stabilize more which is perfect because you get more muscles involved to perform the exercise. This is ideal for people who are working on strength training andweight lossRemember the more muscles you involve the more calories you burn!More weight loss tips Click here
